Colorado Film Commission Lifetime Acheivement Award

On November 2, 2007, the Colorado Film Commission inducted John Fielder to their Hall of Fame with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Pinnacle Club in downtown Denver.

John Fielder is a nationally renowned nature photographer, publisher, and preservationist. He is the photographer of 30 exhibit format and guidebooks, most about his home state of Colorado.

An original governor-appointed member of the Board of Great Outdoors Colorado, Fielder’s photography has influenced people and legislation earning him awards from many conservation groups, including the Sierra Club’s Ansel Adams Award. He teaches photography to adults and children, and speaks to thousands of people each year rallying support for land-use and environmental issues.

Rebel with a Cause

In May 2007, John Fielder was honored with Colorado Environmental Coalition’s (CEC) “Rebel with a Cause” award to recognize his ongoing advocacy to sustain our state’s special places. Fielder’s passion for Colorado’s beautiful and irreplaceable wild places has made him a tireless and compelling supporter for the protection of Colorado’s landscapes.

The “Rebel with a Cause” award is presented annually at Colorado Environmental Coalition’s (CEC) “Rebel with a Cause” Gala. It is presented to an outstanding advocate who promotes the protection of Colorado’s magnificent natural places.

Welcome to Our New Location
We are now in our second year in our new, expanded location in Denver's Art District on Santa Fe! This location has been rated one of the top five gallery districts in the country. We are now located between 8th and 9th Avenues on Santa Fe Drive North. There is parking on the street and in back. Be sure to sign up above to receive emails regarding our openings and events as well as John's appearances. Our First Friday Artwalk was rated as Denver's Best First Date! New gallery hours are 10 - 6 Monday to Saturday. Feel free to stop by, give us a call, or shoot us an email with any questions or orders. We look forward to providing the same great service and experience at our new location.
