We are pleased to announce that we are open and doing business in our new expanded gallery location here in Denver's historic Art District on Santa Fe. We are located at 833 Santa Fe Drive in the same location as Denver's well-known Reed Photo Art Gallery. Together we are one of the largest nature photography galleries in the country. Although Colorado's best-known photographer has been selling his fine art nature photographs for 25 years, he opened his first gallery just four years ago in the Cherry Creek Mall. John Fielder's Colorado began as a store and a gallery and somewhat of "John Fielder Central," where he interacted with his many fans, as well as taught photography and gave lectures. This philosophy will continue and expand at our new location on Santa Fe Drive. Here you will be able to attend slide shows and lectures, visit with John and his staff, browse the framed works, and admire the works currently on display at Reed Photo Art, located in the same building. Dozens of John's framed fine art prints, selected from the thousands of images this well-traveled wilderness photographer has made over his 30-year career, are on display. All of John's books, calendars, and greeting cards, and a new collection of posters are sold in the store.

Here's something different. Instead of poring through his Colorado books (he has published 28 titles) to find that perfect photograph for the living room wall, you can sit down in the gallery at an easy-to-use Touch Screen monitor and select whatever subject you want to see, e.g., Wildflowers, Autumn Color, Sunrises, etc. One at a time you can scroll through high resolution digital scans of his very best and most popular work (or do it here at his Online Gallery). He can even make you a color copy to take home to ponder your choice. Nevertheless, most of his framed prints will be available to purchase right off the wall. New gallery hours are 10 - 6 Monday through Saturday and by appointment.

John spends a great deal of time at the gallery. A schedule of John's Events is posted when he'll be available to sign books, as well as when he will offer free slide lectures for adults as well as children - his Nature Photography is Fun for Kids program (there's a theater in the back of the gallery). John also conducts Photography Workshops for adults and discusses destinations and itineraries at various times in the gallery.
